BREAKING: TV personality Natalie Morales added to lineup for GSSPA Fall Virtual Conference

Webinar series to run for four nights starting Oct. 25

Renowned television personality Natalie Morales has been added to the lineup for the GSSPA’s Fall Virtual Conference titled “New Media, New Voices, New Perspectives,” which kicks off Monday, Oct. 25.

The conference will run one session each night, culminating with the Thursday, Oct. 28 program featuring a student panel followed by Morales, who recently announced she will leave “The Today Show” and join the cast of “The Talk.”

The week kicks off with an important session about New Jersey’s impending New Voices legislation on Monday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.

The virtual conference will take place of the organization’s annual Fall Press Day, traditionally an all-day event the last Monday of October at Rutgers University. The event was not held last year and will not run this year, either, due to the pandemic.

The GSSPA has partnered with Rutgers to run the virtual conference, which will also include sessions on social justice and media law.

The GSSPA will announce its annual contest award winners live from Monday, Nov. 8 through Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. each night on the the organization’s Instagram account. These Insta Live awards reveals are free and open for anyone to attend.
