GSSPA announces award winners

Pascack Valley captures three big publication awards; CHE wins Division A Distinguished Print Journalism honor for 11th straight year

Pascack Valley garnered three of the big Garden State Scholastic Press Association publication awards, including the top two publication-level honors in the online contests, and Cherry Hill East nabbed the Distinguished Journalism Award in Division A of the print contests for the 11th straight year. Award winners were announced by the organization at its annual Fall Press Day on Oct. 28 at Rutgers University’s Busch Campus Center.

Princeton’s “The Prince” yearbook received the highest point total of the six All-New Jersey Platinum winners.

Isis Kirkland of Glen Rock won the write-off that took place at the event, and Belvidere was recognized with best coverage of the event via Twitter.
