In the “Write to Know” session, Dr. Donna S. Beck from PIX 11 News reviewed the central aspects of news writing and reporting for both print and digital platforms. Discussions focused on the unique structure of a news story, organizing complex information into truthful, objective, and accurate journalism, to creating feature stories or breaking news.
Students were given scripts, formed Anchor Teams of two, and then presented the stories as a live team on camera.
